Abba Father

Imagine how Jesus, when He was on this earth, called His Father Daddy. We can somehow understand that, but the thought that He wants us to call God Daddy, is alittle harder to swallow. "Abba" is actually the greek word for Daddy.
Romans 8:14-16 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. for ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. For the Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God.

You see, God the creator of the universe, calls you His child, and He wants you to call Him Daddy. It's such a loving term, and difficult for many of us to do, even for the simple fact that many dads have checked out, and we don't even know how and what that looks like.

Some years back, I was honored to visit Israel, and walking thru the ancient city streets near the Western wall, you could hear the young children calling their dads "Abba", as they ran to catch up with their pappa.

A child who calls his father "Daddy" has an affectionate relationship, and has built up a secure trust, knowing his dad takes good care of him.  If God calls us his own and wants this relationship, it's up to us to come near, come closer. What are you waiting for? Today would be good...

The Creator of the Earth Loves You

In the Beginning God created the heaven and the earth... Gen. 1:1

And even in the beginning, He was thinking of you, and He was loving you and planning for you. When He thinks of you, it's only with thoughts of mercy, love and forgiveness.

Eph 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will.

It gave Him pleasure to adopt you as His own. But you must come only thru Jesus. By His grace He welcomes you. John 14:6  "I am the way the truth, and life; no man comes to the Father, but by me."

Ps 36:5 His faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds

Ps. 36:5 Thy mercy, O Lord is in the heavens; and thy faithfulness reacheth unto the clouds.

Clouds give rain, and way back on the day when Noah's boat moved from the waters to dry land, God gave him a rainbow for sign, and promised He would never again flood the earth. So when you look up to the clouds, you can remember that promise, and that your God is so faithful to keep His promises.

I Cor. 1:9  God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ps.23 The Lord is my sheperd

The Lord is my Sheperd, I shall not want.  Another translation says, I shall not lack.

He leads me beside still waters, He makes me lie down in green pastures, He restores my soul...

A comforting true psalm, that reveals truth.  If you truly give yourself to Him, and trust him with your most valuable possession, YOU,  He will prove himself strong in your life.  You will be in great hands. Your on His dime, so to speak. He will care for you like no other. If you hold the reins to your life, believe me, your life will be so limited. When He holds the reins to your life, there are no limits!
I dare you to prove Him...

Come and Meet Me

Do you know how much I love You? I am preparing you a home, made just for you. I know all your colors and your very taste even in furniture. John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you may be also.

This is a small thing thought compared how I have already proved my love for you, by dying on the cross and washing your sins in my own blood...

Believe me when I say I love you. Come and meet me...

He Loves You

Ps.42:8 Yet the Lord will command his lovingkindness in the daytime, and in the night his song shall be with me and my prayer unto the God of my life.

The Father has already proven His LOVE for YOU. He has done everything HE can to show you how deeply HE LOVES YOU!!

Rom 5:8 (Amplifd) But God shows and clearly proves His own love for us, by the fact that while we were still sinners, Christ (the messiah, the annointed one) died for us.

Now it's up to you to receive it, to drink as much of his love as you need to, want to. It is finished. He thinks of you with Love all day long, why do you keep thinking God hates you? If you think this,  you are clearly believing a LIE....

The Lord is my Shepherd

He always leads you by still waters. He restores my soul. He makes to lie down in green pastures.  This is not just for funerals like we've always heard. The Lord wants to be our all in all and our shepherd. He wants to be our source for everything. He will not lead you astray, but always to peace and safety. Sheep will not drink from waters until the waters are still and calm. We are his sheep. He only wants the best for you. Always relate to Jesus and the Father, the same as you look at the way a loving family would reacte. You wouldn't throw your child onto the freeway to teach them something. You protect, nurture, guide and love them. What makes us think God is such a cruel Father?

Yeshua is Jesus

The beautiful name of Jesus. Here is the hebrew spelling for it. They read from the right to the left. If you look at the top right little hook that looks like a comma, thats the "Y". The next one that looks like a W with a dot on top right, well, that's the "Sh" sound. The next one is the "U" and the last is for the "A", although an a doesn't always look like that.  I've also seen alittle diff spelling for this.

When you cross reference it, there is a root word for Jesus that is "Yasha" (Heb strong #3467) meaning, to Save, deliver, Savior.

He came to save, not to destroy. He is our heroe, to rescue us. He is the real white knight in shining armor.  I'll prove it to you!  Revelation 19:11-Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had a name written that no one knew except Himself. He was closthed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed him on white horses. Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords!   Jesus is our mighty Warrior and Heroe.

What lenses do you see thru?

In proverbs, there is a verse which states "As a man thinks, so is he". We each have only 24 hrs in a day (sometimes I wish the Lord gave us 48, but oh well). That's plenty of thinking time. We have tons of thoughts going thru our head, vital thoughts, some useless, sometimes many negative thoughts like "I'm not good enough, God is not pleased with me, God doesn't love me." Blah, blah, etc. Those thoughts are not only useless, they are lies! If God is LOVE, and He is and if he gave his best (Jesus his son), then you have no reason to down your self. Notice how these negative thoughts make you feel? They pull you deeper and lower into the pit. Pretty soon your depressed and have nothing to offer anyone.
Just as a frown can turn the opposite way into a smile, positive thoughts of praise, thankfulness, meditating on God's word, can pull you out of the pit into the clouds. It really works my friend...I dare you to try it!

Respond to Him

Someone said today that when we worship Jesus, we really are not initiating anything. We are actually responding to his initiation. Responding to His call, His drawing of us. He has already in His word set forth His love to you and I. He said "Follow me".  He said, "Seek and you shall find". "Come to me, all who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest".  He already loves you, thinks well of you, cares about you.   It's your turn to answer...

He Loves 24-7

Did you know that God doesn't sleep? It's true.  Ps.121:4 Behold, He that keepeth Israel, shall neither slumber nor sleep.  The hebrew meaning for the word slumber is to be drowsy.  The Father never even gets drowsy, let alone sleeps.  I can be on the highway, driving at nite, on a long trip, you know that feeling? Heavy eyelids, a slight weaving begins to take place.  Not God, He's always alert, awake, watching, loving you.  He holds up the universe with His word. If He fell asleep, we'd probably go poof! Kaputz would happen! Rest easy little lamb, and know as you sleep tonite, and have sweet dreams, God is still on the throne...

Unconditional Love

We are so used to conditional love. If we do well, we will be treated better. If we repay a favor, we will be appreciated. If we slip, sometimes we may lose a friend. To receive  God's love,  to believe that he gave his son for us, is to walk thru the door of peace and unconditional love.
Remember the well known scripture Jn 3:16 for God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever will believe in him will never perish, but have eternal life.
He did something for us before we ever knew him. He gave to us his best, before we ever believed in him.  He will always love you, even if you didn't believe and walk thru the door of salvation which is Jesus.  His love just loves period.

How He Loves Us- David Crowder Band

Our Father the Puzzlemaker

God has a plan for each one of us. A great plan. Ps.37:23  The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. He delights in his way.

Jer.29:11 For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Like pieces of a puzzle he puts 1 piece at a time. You just seek Him, seek to know and love Him.  Trust him that he has your best interest at heart. Like dominoes, he will lead you. One step at a time.  The key is to trust...

He is mine

Believe

Believe He wants to pour out His love and blessings on you.  Actually, He already has.  Thru his son Jesus. What he did on the cross, caused you and I to have rightstanding with God now. We were the sinners who belonged on the cross. He took our place because of Love.  "In whom we have redemption thru His blood, even the forgiveness of sins;" Colossians 1:14

If I don't give scripture, you might not believe me...Rom.5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God thru our Lord Jesus Christ;

You can't earn his love, it's a gift, it's free. You just have to believe, and whether you do or not,  He still loves you...

Open Yourself Up To Him

Let  God make himself real to you, seek Him and you will find Him.....

He Sees You

You think your invisible and unimportant?  He sees you, with eyes of compassion. Psalm 33:13-14 says, The Lord looketh from heaven; he beholdeth all the sons of men. From the place of his habitation he looketh upon all the inhabitants of the earth.  Vs. 18-Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy; to deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waiteth for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in him holy name.  HE Sees YOU...

God's Character

Would you like to know the character of God? First of all the bible says that God is Love. Not hate, he's not an ogre waiting to pounce on you. Far from it. I John 4:8-He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.  Now I will read to you from another bible translation (the message bible) on what LOVE is. Once you read what LOVE is, then you can understand the character of God better. And also...this is how God loves you.      I Corinthians 12:4-8  Love never gives up. Love cares more for others than for self. Love doesn't want what it doesn't have. Love doesn't strut, doesn't have a swelled head, doesn't force itself on others, isn't always "me first," doesn't fly off the handle, doesn't keep score of the sins of others, doesn't revel when other grovel. Takes pleasure in the flowering of truth, puts up with anything, always trusts, always looks for the best, never looks back, but keeps going to the end.  Love never dies.

This is how He love YOU...

One who Loves You

The Father loves you, for He created you. He knows every detail about you, what your all about. What time you wake up, what your favorite cereal is, even how many hairs are on your head. He is crazy about you. A simple verse that you may be familiar with is John 3:16 (read it as never before) For God SO LOVED the world, that He GAVE His only begotten SON, that whoever believes in him would never die, but have eternal life.  He didn't love you at your best, when you finally had it all together (by the way, nobody does), He loved you at your worst. When you were a loser. His son died willingly, for He loved you too. It's hard I know to conceive that it's possible. But think about this verse tomorrow, accept it, for it's the truth.
